SPOKANE, WA. -- The Tri-City Americans scored two goals 41-seconds apart in the third period and picked up a 4-3 win over the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday night in front of 8,735 fans in the Spokane Arena. The Chiefs came from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead 5:58 into the third, but a Tri-City power play goal at 13:55 tied it up with the game winner coming shortly thereafter at 14:36.

Tri-City scored the game's first goal at 8:55 of the opening frame and extended their lead to 2-0 with their first of two power play goals at 1:55 of the second. The Americans were outshooting Spokane 13-5 at that point thanks to three power play opportunities, including a five minute score at will on a fighting major given to the Chiefs T.
